About Bridge Huruma

Bridge is a highschool leavers program that at aims at empowering young adults in preparedness to college/community life, leadership and character building. It's a program facilitated by Life Ministry Kenya in partnership with churches and like-hearted Christian organization such as Redeemed Gospel Church-Huruma. The program runs through sixteen weeks of the following :
*weekly class session
*Monthly Group projects
*Mentor-mentee sit-down
*Weekly Assignments
*Class Outreach
*Camp
*Mission

Bridge,  believes that by reaching and radically transforming the young people of any society, you will not only be able to reach and transform the whole society but also generations to come.

...think about a society whose 15-19year olds are totally sold out to God...walking in the fullness of God's Kingdom... Living out their God designed purpose and destiny... Sharing in God's heart for the lost and imparting the world around them with His love... Close your eyes and see many small group discussions in the sunset hours in your hood... Young people in tens... Not discussing girls or boys or drugs or crime... But talking about Jesus, praying together, prophesying over each other... Planning clean-ups of the dirty streets, planning on visiting the children's home in the next alley... Think about your two 16 and 17 year old daughters coming to ask you for some capital money to do a start-up because with some friends they are raising money to pay school fee for one of them....see yourself get into a teens service and finding young people broken before God,  lost in His love,the whole atmosphere heavy with His presence....
